Manual Fault Clearances

It has come to the attention of the Halogen Team that some small anomalies exist with regard to Manual Fault Clearances within Halogen Browser. These anomalies will effect the Historical Range Queries and subsequent playback of equipment fault logs.

This issue arises with the following criteria:

This issue manifests itself as a fault's icon which is not removed from the graphical display.

The reason being, for a fault icon to be removed from the graphical display on Halogen Browser, a fault clearance log must be part of the Historical Range Query and the corresponding fault clearance is never generated with a manual fault clearance (MFC). Thus the equipment fault icon is never removed, even after a manual fault clearance is initiated, which updates the original fault log.

This is a very specific case on the Halogen Browser and the Halogen Team are working towards developing a fix for this particular scenario which will be included in the next release of the Halogen Browser.
