Real-Time Database Data Update - Aug 2009

The latest release removes all logs that are marked as suspended in the Real-time Database. This will improve the accuracy of information displayed by the real-time applications such as Halogen Browser and Roadside Fault Display.

Logging System Status

The Logging System Status page has two additional statistical columns to help analyse the performance of the Logging Systems. The first of the two columns shows the number of logs received in the last hour against each logging system and the second column shows the calculated average number of logs received per hour from each logging system since that logging system last connected to Halogen. This page now refreshes once every minute.

ERTs - Jun 2009

We have made an update to the storage and processing of Emergency Roadside Telephone (ERT) calls logs, to successfully propagate the seconds time from the Call Cancel Time to the Historical Database. Previously, the Call Cancel Time displayed the date/time with the seconds as zero. This has now been corrected. This update only affects 0.01% of all ERT call logs since December 2008.

Roadside Fault Display Website - Jun 2009

We have successfully upgraded the Roadside Fault Display (RFD) website with a maintenance release on Thursday 25th June. The upgrade has improved the matching facility available to RFD for geographical information on a device, i.e. matching the geographical address to the electronic address, RMC Areas have been re-aligned with the new TMPS information and better use of the Device link to RMC Area is being made now. In addition the website will now be able to sort the 'Equipment Status' page by date the fault was cleared, if available.

Fault ID - Mar 2009

We have successfully updated HALOGEN to accommodate fault ID's greater than 32767 (based on Change Note 2613). The upgrade includes alterations to the fault tables in all HALOGEN databases and updates to downstream tools to reflect the changes. Sub-system suppliers can test their interfaces to HALOGEN using our Live/Test facility. Please contact the helpdesk if you require use of the testing suite.
