Remote Access
Halogen provides a managed point of access to the HATMS (Highways Agency Traffic Management System). This managed service allows authorised Software Maintenance Contractors (SMCs) to connect from their office locations to remotely manage and monitor their core HATMS sub-systems.
The remote access facility allows for an increased level of SMC operational and maintenance efficiency by allowing:
- Update of software on the HATMS sub-systems,
- Retrieval of system logs to assist fault diagnosis by factory located personnel,
- Performance of general system management and monitoring,
- Provide rapid out-of-hours access to maintenance personnel located at the SMC's base of operations,
- Send e-mail or other files “back-to-base”.
